The 'uneventful' holiday

Well, the last two weeks have been the Easter holidays and, I'll be honest, I felt like they've been pretty uneventful and, well, boring. It feels like not a lot has happened. However, when I thought more about what I did it looks like my holiday wasn't as uneventful as I thought!

For the fourth week in a row, I went to the theatre, this time to see Spamalot. If I'm honest, I was not really expecting to enjoy it, but I really did! Of course, most people would say that it was bound to be good, especially with its ridiculously strong connection to the comedy legends from Monty Python! Strangely, however, this is not what popped in to my mind, and the reasons for booking, well, were a £10 ticket deal! And thank goodness I went for it! Again, as with From Here To Eternity, I can't really recommend due to the fact they've gone and closed the play, two days after I saw it. Typical.

As well as this, I met up with a few friends, which was great fun! The lovely weather meant I was able to wear sunglasses (yay!) and shorts, which I have been looking forward to. A lot. And not to mention several ice creams (from a van with a flake and bubblegum sauce, no less!). On top of that, I also went to Old Rope comedy no less than twice. I had to miss one lot, which had one of my very favourite comedians performing due to work. Safe to say I was GUTTED!

And, last but not least, was Easter! I was very lucky to receive around a kilo and a half worth of chocolate and sweets! YAY!

Anyway, so thats about it really. I didn't get to go to Thorpe Park, but ah well! So, 'til next time!
