I took a trip to the year 3000...

In November 2003, aged 8 years and 2 months, I saved up my pocket money (£2 a week) for a total of four weeks to be able to buy a brand new CD that had just been released. This CD was 'A Present For Everyone' by Busted. Over 10 years later, it is still one of my most played CDs, along with their other album and all McFly's albums. I was very upset when Busted broke up-I never even got to see them live. Luckily for me, they joined forces with the band that filled the Busted-shaped-music void in my 8-year-old life, McFly, and toured. And I only went and saw that concert 3 WHOLE TIMES!!!

I had booked to see it twice, and was surprised when my parents told me on Wednesday night that I was going to see them Thursday in a corporate box on top of the Friday and Saturday performances! The good thing is, having seen McFly numerous times beforehand, I knew I would NEVER get bored of the concert! Honestly, it was INCREDIBLE! I guess I'll just write about some highlights...

My first night's view. I saw they unleashed a HUGE basketball, cricket ball, football and tennis ball in to the floor crowd, where I would be the following night. One went over my head!

2nd night I was right next to the UFO stage.

However, it was the last night that was the best!!! I was stood in the OMFG zone, a 'VIP' bit right in front of the stage! Awesome things from then: Danny Jones spat water at me (believe it or not, one of the best moments of my life!) and laughed at us all freaking out, I didn't have to zoom on my camera, Tom Fletcher sat on the stage right in front of me, plus numerous other things. So, in a nutshell, über close and happy Tom, Matt in a wedding dress and James awesomeness. I did get pics of the others too, of course! Anyway, there is only one pic that can sum up how this all makes me feel...
