I could talk about mock week...

Hello reader!
Last summer, one evening at around 11pm, I was reading twitter when I noticed a particular tweet. I cannot remember exactly what it said, apart from that it gave details of a treasure hunt in London hosted by a member of my favourite band. One thing was for sure-I was going! I immediately let my friend know, and at 11am the next day, we stationed ourselves at Oxford Circus, where I knew you could get to pretty much anywhere within half an hour (the amount of time that was allocated for each location in the hunt). 3 hours later, we were still milling around Oxford Circus, waiting and waiting, with the occasional suggestion from my friend saying 'should we move on?' This is probably when I should say, I am quite a trusting person. Maybe in fact too trusting. I was adamant, we would stay in that spot for as long as it would take, that there was no way this band member was going to let me down, and sure enough it paid off. At around half 2, the first location was revealed. I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to anyone I may have inadvertently stood on/whacked with my bag while running to the tube and from the station all the way to Hyde Park. There, we received our treasure (check out the picture!) and acted relatively normal until it was time for them to move on and I began to freak out.
Today, I saw my very first Shakespeare play. Henry V, with Jude Law. Just going to throw it out there, it was AMAZING!!! If you get a chance-GO! The only criticism I do have is that the narrator was dressed in modern day clothes and had some random backpack on, stayed on stage reading some sort of book during the interval, and then went on to interact with all these really-olden-day dudes. On the plus side, this made a great conversation in the group, as we all wondered 'what is up with that guy?'

However, this trip was not without its difficulties. Out of 6 people saying they would go, only 3 of us kept to this, leaving me with 3 ownerless tickets to get rid of. Luckily, the box office managed to sell on two of my tickets and one was taken by someone who saw my tweet about a spare ticket going. It all worked out in the end, I guess! And I'm sure that, when I look back at this trip I will probably not remember it for all the hiccups in the planning stages, but for the fact that I saw Jude Law dressed up in a Shakespearean soldier costume! And the interesting narrator.

I guess this has left me with two conflicting morals for these stories. Trust people? Don't trust people? I guess that's each individual's choice. All I know is, in both cases, it all worked out in the end. And both were so much fun!

Over and out! (PS: It was mock week, but exams are dull.)
