A performance at a theme park

Hello reader!

I'm afraid that these past couple o' weeks have been pretty dull. It says something when one of the highlights of your week is that you finally tried 'Robinsons Squash'd'. Saying that, I was pleasantly surprised.

Since last time I blogged I've had my final lesson of proper education. Not going to uni means that, once exams are over, I am education free! Can't say I'm not happy about that, but I will miss the student discounts.

In this rather dull time, there was, however, one great event. EofE, a band who supported McBusted on their tour, performed on Bank Holiday Monday at Thorpe Park. It was a no-brainer, I was going! Especially as it would only cost me petrol (thank goodness for annual passes) and the drive is not far at all. I ended up spending the day freezing cold and on my own but, seriously, it was worth it 100%!
It is fair to say that I may be a bit of a fan now. They really are awesome-trust me on that one! Hopefully they'll return to the London-Surrey area someday soon, as I'd quite like to see them live again. Until then, I guess I'll just have to play the four songs I have downloaded on repeat, as I have been for the last four days (Lust, Lust acoustic version, Kiss Me Like You Mean It, and Dirty Diana, if you're interested).

Right. So that's this blog done. Bit dull, and please don't get your hopes up for the next one as, for the next two weeks, this girl's gonna be sitting exams. Woop-de-doo.

Well, 'til then!

The Post-McBusted Blues...

Hey reader,

The last three weeks have been spent not doing too much, I'll be honest. A lot of the time, I've been wishing I was seeing McBusted, watching videos from the concerts and checking out pictures from each gig. The word 'obsessed' has been used. I wish I could see them again, but won't be long as I get to see them in July in Hyde Park!

As much as I wish could go on about it more, I shall leave McBusted there and write about the other stuff that has been happening. Such as exams, which start in around 3 weeks. Eugh. Studying. I hate it, as does everyone else. So enough about that.

Of course exams etc do NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES mean I can stop having fun! May bank holiday was spent at Alton Towers, which was great fun. As it's far from my place I have to go for a couple of days in order to make the most of it! As well as that, I also went to the recording of 'Sweat the small stuff' with Rita Ora among the guests. I quite enjoy going to TV recordings as it's a free night out with loads of games, plus you get to see the show before anyone else!

Last but (of course) not least, I went to Old Rope again. We hadn't been for 2 weeks, so were rather surprised when a) the bar staff remembered our drink order and b) the man on the door said 'don't worry, your usual seats are still free'. I like that fact. But it now means I shall have to choose wisely when taking any friends there (eventually)... Small price to pay!

Well, I think this has been suitably boring. Here is a picture of Danny Jones to make up for it.
'Til next time!
