Hello reader!
So, you may realise there is a bit of a gap since my last post... (Read 'a bit of a gap' as 'almost a year)
Oopsie! Luckily this gap is not because I've been boring or forgotten about this place where I can write down all my thoughts and but them in a corner of the big fat worldwide web, it's because I've been a little busy...!
So, this is my POA, not that I have to tell you, but if I do then I guess I'm more likely to stick to it. As there have been so many adventures I have embarked on, I will take the time to write one blog post a day, and try to reminisce as accurately as possible. Should b efun for me and if all goes to plan, you won't find this boring either!
'Til then!
Here are my ramblings

The next bit of my late late update
Hey reader!
So, I meant to write this soon after my last post, but I didn't get round to it... Sorry!
There is only really one thing I wanted to write about and that was the very last trip for me of the summer. I had already been on two trips with my mum, so it only seemed right for me to go somewhere with my dad, and that somewhere was to be the EdFringe!
If you don't know, this particular event just so happens to be the biggest arts festival in the world and the best place to go and see comedy! In just 5 days (not long enough in my opinion) we saw a grand total of 27 shows, which most people we spoke to said was quite an impressive amount!
There were numerous highlights to our trip, so thought I'd mention just a couple:
1) Tom Deacon timed me not only solving my Rubiks cube, but beating my record at it too! Yup, I managed to do it in 1 min 49 seconds, which is pretty fast!
2) We took a trip to Elephant House, the cafe where JK Rowling wrote Harry Potter. I liked it a lot in there, returning twice more for breakfast before leaving the city. Oh, and of course I had to leave my mark on the wall (people graffiti HP quotes in the bathrooms and its pretty darn cool!)
Well, there ya have it! 'Til next time I guess :D

3) I got a JCSE in maths! (It was a part of a comedian named James Bennison's show. Very funny and gained extra cool points from the badge-giving-away)
4) I saw the O2 from the plane back to London
5) Last, but not least, I went to see Take a Comedian out. Yup, take me out but with 35 comedians and 3 women (one of which was a much-disliked reviewer!). Without a doubt one of the maddest, funniest and best 2 hours of my life! Hope that this show idea is used again because, seriously, I LOVED IT!!!

Late late update
Hi reader!
So, it's been a month. I've been busy. Seeing as I'm not incredibly well (just a cold, nothing too bad!) I thought I'd take the opportunity to update you on my life in the last month or so through a couple of blog posts. You lucky ducks. So, here's the first one I guess!
Poland ended up being incredibly fun, with lots of day trips and general goodness mixed in to days spent with my see-them-once-a-year family. This year, as well as the traditional tacky stalls (sorry not sorry) and street performers that just get in your way, the organisers of the Jarmark festival (happens every year, really old tradition) in Gdansk decided to arrange a London Eye-esque wheel to be put by the river so both residents and guests could see the city from above. I, of course, went on this and yup, the city did look great from up there!
Oh, and I thought I'd just add the picture of the pirate ship. Goes to from the centre of town to Hel and back (no joke).
While in Gdansk we also visited my favourite ice cream shop, Lody Mis. It's mega old and still has the same ladies running it. They only do 10 flavours, but it's cheap and tastes THE BEST! Yes, I do have 6 scoops every time I go. And, yes I did go 3 times in 24 hours. Its totally worth it.

I could tell you a whole lot more about my trip (like the fact I went to see Chef in the cinema and bought a ring for my tragus) but I'll just leave you by telling you about my trip to the lakes. We have a lot of em over there and they're mega pretty. Turns out it also makes a great and incredibly cheap day trip! I finally went on my first pedalo (yay!) and generally just had fun admiring how pretty it looked. Very is the answer. Next year I plan on hiring one of the cabins and going for 2 days!
So, thats it about that. Will soon update on the rest of the month! (Don't get too excited :P)

Some more randomness
Hello reader!
Been a while since my last post. Truth is there wasn't a lot I coulda told you about! Been doing even more extra shifts. There's a lot of em going due to numerous dramas in both my work and the centre that the shop is in, but I'm glad to do the extra shifts, especially as I keep finding shows and gigs I want to go to!
I have been back to Thorpe Park a couple of times since my last post. Not that that's unexpected. I used my queueing time to learn and perfect the art of 'solving a Rubik's cube' (I didn't just do this in queues, I literally spent hours learning the technique). I am now able to comfortably solve the cube in 3 minutes, but can manage in 2 if I rush and have no distractions! Time well spent, me thinks!
I'm now in Poland (arrived on Friday, back on Saturday) and, if I'm honest, the trip has been better than expected so far! One day spent in the sun in the garden (wasn't able to do this for years as I don't have a garden back in the UK and my grandparents used to have a dog which scared the life out of me!), a trip to the brand new Hard Rock Cafe (I LOVE them!) and lots of cake pretty much sums it up! Plus, I'm using the trip to read the 3rd Bridget Jones book-I'm loving it so far, but for some reason the very fact I'm reading it is serving as a great source of amusement for many people around me...
Lastly, I've been exposing my cousin to the delights of Hollywood Ending, EofE and 5sos pretty much non-stop since we got here. I'm using the fact that I won't be seeing HWE live for a while because of their return to the US to play their songs in particular on-repeat today. My cousin is not happy but he has no choice, especially as he's 12 and I could easily beat him if we were to wrestle.
Anyway, over and out! 'Til next time!

Work Hard, Play Hard
Hi reader!
So, as the title suggests, I have been working a fair amount since my last blog post. Yup, I did a grand total of 24 extra hours of work! And, guess what... back to work tomorrow for 8 more! To be honest, I'm just making up for money I've already spent! Band t-shirts, other merch and, of course, tickets! Talking of which...
It may not come as a shock that Hollywood Ending have pretty much become my favourite band (McBusted not included. They're in a league of their own). As a result, I had a desperate search (mainly on twickets) for cheap tickets to Hyde Park Festival on Sunday. And, luckily for me, the search was successful! Yup, £15 each, totally worth it! Not only did I see 'em perform, not only did I meet em again, I also caught a pick! But, best of all I met some awesome people! Yup, we chat on twitter, Facebook etc and ALL LOVE HOLLYWOOD ENDING!!!! Its great, this whole making friends malarkey.
I also managed to get myself to Old Rope again, which was great fun as always. And, finally, my dad went away to Poland, which meant lots of eating out and general good timez (with a z, yes it was that good)!
Eugh. Feel like this has been a tad dull. Sorry!

Oh yeah, it's a Son Of Dork pick. I fangirled a lot.

Some stuff I got up to
Hi reader!
So its fair to say that I have been having a lot of fun since my last post. So much so that if I was to write about everything in detail, you'd stop reading because it would be way too long. So I guess I'll just list some stuff and write in detail about the MOST AMAZING DAY EVER!!!
I managed to bag myself and my friend a ticket each to the TV recording of 'Virtually Famous', which will be aired on E4 at some point soon. It's hosted by Kevin McHale from Glee and has Chris Stark and Seann Walsh (LEGEND!) as team captains. It was great fun and made even better by the fact that Seann's team was comprised of half The Vamps and Tom Rosenthal. Plus, we walked round London a lot that day (my favourite thing to do!) and sat on Nelson's Column for a bit post-filming. YAY!

My feet are the small ones. I fit in children's shoes.
Within the week, I also met up with my friend who I used to play tennis with. She left and went to uni, but she's back in town at the moment (*fanfare*)! Finally, I decided on Friday to go to Chessington World of Adventures. It was very hot, and this made a great way to cool down. Also, no one tends to look at the zoo during summer so I got a good glimpse at zebras, lions, tigers etc!
Last, and the best thing of the week was Sunday 6th July, or as it shall now be known 'HYDE PARK DAY!'. Yes, I went to a festival. Not a camping in the mud, wear wellies-esque one but a fest nonetheless! We turned up around 3 hours before doors and it was totally worth it! I met someone with EXACTLY the same first name as me (this has never ever happened to me!) and was incredibly close for Hollywood Ending's set!
Oh yeah, I also met them. THAT DEFINITELY HAPPENED!!! Other people I saw included Scouting For Girls (my 15 year old self would be screaming SO MUCH!), Wheatus (joined by Hollywood Ending at one point!), the Backstreet Boys (joined by James Bourne! It rained so much during their set...) and MCBUSTED!!!! As if you have to ask... it was epic. My friend had never been with me to a concert like that and I think I may have scared her a tad... And the people around me... Oops!
Righty-o! I think that's where I'll leave it. Bye!

Bands and Bruises
Hello reader!
It's been quite a while since I last blogged, so thought I'd update you on what been happening since my return from Disneyland. The title pretty much sums it up-I'll be honest, there's been a lack of comedy in my life. That will, however, all be fixed by Monday!
I guess I should start with bands. It will come as no surprise to most people who know anything about me that, when McBusted support act Hollywood Ending (who just so happen to have James Bourne's brother (who played Peter in the Year 3000 video) as a member) played at Thorpe Park, I of course told my boss I really needed a half day and rushed to the park as quick as possible (while still driving sensibly). I may have only been on one ride that day, but it is most definitely one of the best trips I have ever had to the park! I wish I could sum up just how good they were, but I'm not great at doing that (it normally just ends up with the overuse of the word amazing...). All I'll say is that not a day has gone by where I haven't listened to all their songs and I have pretty much forced my friend to become a fan. Also, 3 out of 4 had their faces painted the 2nd time they performed, and if there's anything I do like, it's a band that can rock face paint.

Before and after... Yes, I know you can't see the face paint. It's the Joker, a lightning bolt and a lion!
This picture is pretty awesome.
I'll be honest, the 2nd band I've got in to over the last few weeks came as a bit of a surprise to me, especially as they supported 1D on tour. Yup, 5SOS. All you gotta know is that they are awesome. Don't question, just listen (I could ramble, but it's late now!)
Lastly, bruises. I've been collecting them. Current total is 7. I shall list:
1) Ankle-not sure how I got it if I'm honest!
2) Just under right knee-walked in to the same bench twice at the V&A wedding dress exhibition. I shouted 'owww' and an old lady stared. The bruise is pretty cool if I'm honest and has lasted 2 weeks!
3-7) Knees-bumper cars at leavers day. I like to get up speed then bump in to someone (best way to do it!). But you do end up hitting your knee a lot...
I hope my bruises last. They're cool.
Well, thats about it I think. I have got up to more, but think I've already taken up a fair amount of your day! 'Til next time!
